On my second birthday, my mom cut all of my hair off because I wouldn’t stop twisting toys, sticks and suckers into my hair. So I guess you could say “she was born with it.” With improved dexterity, I have moved on from sticky candy and now choose the always reliable hand. It wasn’t until recently that I realized that this is probably a stem which has opened up a lot of possibilities for coping.
