My Dark Place is what I called my depression before I realized that it was actual clinical depression. When I finally reached out to get some help from a professional, I told her that I have never really minded my dark place because I know I will come out of it feeling renewed, rested, refreshed and ready to take on the world. She was like “uhhh that’s bipolar disorder” lol
